Your vacation plans may be on hold this summer, but your imagination can take you anywhere in the world. Food, especially can help bring back memories of a place that you’ve already traveled to or a create a picture in your head of where you would like to go.

We decided that we wanted to take the Crew on a journey to the Caribbeanto eat and explore some of their classic cuisine and there is no one better to help us along the way than Peter Ivey and The Reggae Chefs.

Peter Ivey is a serial entrepreneur, a chef, writer/author originally from Jamaica. He has been living in New York for the past twenty years and is the Founder and CEO of The Reggae Chefs®, a culinary services company that uniquely fuses Jamaican food and cultural expression through customized events. The Reggae Chefs®, have been featured in Forbes and the New York Daily News and has been archived in The National Library of Jamaica.

In March 2020, Chef Iveyco-authored Coronavirus: Get Outta Here! One of the first children’s books on the Coronavirus pandemic, the book has been included as one of UNICEF’s resources to help families. His vision is to help sustain the global community through projects aimed at eradicating poverty and hunger.

Chef Ivey is excited to meet the Crew and eager for them to taste his recipes as he talks about his cuisine, culture, journey and experiences.

We’ll start with a CARIBBEAN PUNCH MOCKTAIL toast and dive into a 3-course menu, which includes SALT FISH/COD FISH FRITTERS, JAMAICAN SEASONED RICE w/ CHICKEN, and CARIBBEAN TROPICAL BREAD.
