It’s our first hosted event of the year and the Crew’s palates should be ready to travel. Our first stop in 2020 is Japan at Sushi Dokku for a Japanese Immersion! This event is not just for sushi lovers, because the menu is incredibly diverse and ranges from delicate sashimi cuts, to creative nigiri bites and maki rolls, to a Japanese inspired filet mignon and grilled salmon.

This is a personal favorite of LDC and our Crew will be able to sit at the counter and peer into the kitchen to watch their dishes being prepared. They will observe the culinary skills of Sushi Dokku chefs and have fun discovering how to actually eat certain dishes. Parents will enjoy their own experience along with a selection of Japanese libations.

Created by the owners of Sushi Wabi, DOKKU boasts a cult following due to the trust the owners have developed with their guests over the years. Dokku directly translates to “dock” in Japanese. The inspiration was to evoke sushi in its simplest form, when fish that was caught and eaten sashimi-style, on the dock. Fish so fresh that you can taste the sea. At Sushi Dokku, it’s all about the fish.
